IDOT’s Sunley joins Hanson

SPRINGFIELD, IL – William “Bill” Sunley, former deputy director of program development for the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Division of Highways, has joined Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Sunley will serve as a project manager for municipal and county transportation projects. He will also provide expertise on transportation management, planning, design, construction, and real estate acquisition services on a variety of projects.

Sunley has more than 30 years of highway civil engineering experience, starting with IDOT in 1970. A licensed engineer, he earned a bachelor’s of science in civil engineering from Bradley University (1970) and a master’s of business administration from Sangamon State University (1981).
