Hanson receives award for support of the National Guard and Reserve

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — Hanson Professional Services Inc. recently received the Pro Patria award from the Illinois Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).  ESGR is a Department of Defense organization that seeks to promote a culture in which all American employers support and value the military service of their employees.

The “Pro Patria” award is the highest-level ESGR award that can be given by individual state field committees.  Each ESGR committee presents the award annually to an employer in the state that provides exceptional support of our national defense through leadership practices and personnel policies that support their employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.

Hanson employee, Maj. Craig Holan with the U.S. Army National Guard, nominated his employer as a company that has consistently gone beyond the call of duty when supporting Guard and Reserve personnel.
