ENR Top 500 Design Firms 2008

Hanson Professional Services Inc. was named a Top 500 Design Firm by the Engineering News-Record (ENR), a national trade publication of the engineering, design and construction industry. This is the 21st consecutive year that Hanson has ranked in the Top 500. The firm came in at No. 210 on the national list.

Above and Beyond Award 2008

Hanson Professional Services Inc. was recognized by the Illinois Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserves with an “Above and Beyond” award. This award recognizes employers who have gone above and beyond the legal requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act in granting leave to their Guard and Reserve employees for military duty.

Hanson named top design firm by Midwest Construction 2007

Hanson was recognized as a top design firm by Midwest Construction magazine. Hanson came in at No. 11 on the list, with $35.4 million in total billings for projects in Illinois, Indiana, eastern Missouri and Wisconsin.

Named a Top 200 fastest-growing A/E/E firm by ZweigWhite 2007

Hanson was named to the 2007 Zweig Letter Hot Firm List as one of the top 200 fastest-growing architecture, engineering and environmental firms in the U.S. and Canada from 2003 through 2006. Hanson came in at No. 197 on the list, with gross revenues increasing from $44 million in 2003 to nearly $61 million in 2006.

For the 20th consecutive year, Hanson was recognized as a Top Design Firm by ENR. We ranked No. 202 on their list.

Hanson was again named a Top 500 Design Firm for the 19th consecutive year by Engineering News-Record Magazine. We ranked No. 216 on the national list.

ENR Top 500 Design Firm 2005

Hanson ranked No. 207 on Engineering News-Record Magazine’s list of top design firms. Our firm has appeared on the list for the last 18 consecutive years.

Midwest Construction Top 130 Design Firm 2004

Hanson came in at No. 10 among the top 130 design firms ranked by Midwest Construction in the publication’s October issue. Firms were ranked according to the amount of work they were doing in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.

Top 50 Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work for 2002

For the second consecutive year, Hanson was named one of CE News’ “Top Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work for.” The award was based on our efforts to recruit and retain employees.

Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work for 2001

CE News named us one of the 25 “Best Civil Engineering Firms to Work for” in the nation. We came in at No. 12 on the list.

The Zweig Letter Hot Firm 2001

The Zweig Letter, a trade publication for engineering, architectural and environmental firms, selected us as one of the 100 fastest-growing architecture and engineering firms in the country. Hanson ranked No. 83.

Private Practice Professional
Development Award 2001

Hanson received the Professional Development Award from the National Society of Professional Engineers. Hanson was the only firm in the nation selected for this award.
